STERILIZE THE POWDER… mamas please boil the water and mix the formula in water at 158 degrees! It kills any bacteria that may be present preventing NEC. They really should put it on the can. Any powdered formula or even contaminated breastmilk can cause it

the litigation is only against Enfamil and similac because those are the 2 hospitals use. it can happen with any. Breast milk has protective properties lowering the chance of NEC.
