I am from SA but live in Houston. It is wild how different the flavors are. Can’t find good carne guisada and most places have never even heard of puffy tacos. 😳 I miss puffy tacos! Thanks for making me homesick. 😂

we went Sunday for barbacoa. they ran out of menudo, tamales, carnitas. the barbacoa and corn tortillas were delicious. please tip the servers they work hard

Hola Mr Jerry, your next stop for puffy tacos should be at La Gardenia on the corner of Carson & N Pine in the Government Hill subdivision close to Ft Sam off I-35 & New Braunfels Ave 🫢😋!! They also have fresh baked pan dulce daily with a large variety 😋😋😋

Haven't tried puffy tacos but their Barbacoa is OUTSTANDING! Ive tried alot of Barbacoa places around San Antonio but this La Ideal is hands down the best! Makes sense they were sold out!
