In my yongin years I worked on ships in the North Atlantic and Artic oceans. I remember lying in bed at 2 am in a motel in Greenland and hearing kids playing street hockey outside. 😳. Oddly enough, it was actually a feeling of freedon and ease. There was never a rush to get something completed by the end of the day. 😊

it doesn't get dark at all, it's like overcast but no sun. This is me and my spouses hometown. Summers are 24 hr daylight, it goes away in December and comes back sometime in January, where we have a Festival, "welcoming back the sun". We'd cover our windows to sleep too. 😊
