People saying Bling murdered Truth in the final battle didn't really understand the movie. In Truth's first verse, he wasn't exposing Bling yet, he was warning him. The lines about the snake without a rattle and the horse without a saddle were basically saying, "You're not as impressive as you pretend to be. You're missing the qualities that make your image real, so step aside before I expose you." It was only after Bling's second verse and the disrespectful things he said that Chris decided to go all in. That's why he started his second verse with, "You know what..." From that moment, it stopped being a warning and became an exposure.
