@faizylegend: Let’s play a game: share a picture of your phone wallpaper and explain why it represents you. My wallpaper is a message to God, a prayer. Not just for myself, but for others I pray for as well. Growing up as a deaf person in a hearing family and attending a hearing church where I often didn’t understand what was going on, everything felt so silent. That’s when I started to lose my faith in God because I felt like no one could truly help me. I even attended classes, but no one provided an ASL interpreter. Because of that, I often ignored God. I struggled not only with being deaf, but also with vitiligo, a condition that causes loss of skin pigmentation, which led to bullying. On top of that, I have chronic short bowel syndrome, which limits what I can eat and requires me to rely on a feeding tube. Over time, step by step, I learned to overcome these challenges. I accepted who I am as a deaf person with vitiligo and the reality of my dietary limitations. As the years went by, I began to realize that God allowed these struggles to shape me into a stronger person. Through it all, He gave me one of the greatest gifts: wisdom, a deep understanding of how to face challenges and grow from them. In that process, I found my way back to Him and built a stronger faith than ever before.
