as a teenager, I LOVE collecting pokemon cards, but popular influencers ruined it by adding "market price" on modern sets and encouraging scalping.

While Pokemon isnt exclusively for kids. I fully agree with the issue of scalpers. We need to stop buying from them, let them sit on that stuff thats the only way. My husband collects Pokemon cards since hes a child adults arent the problem its adults buying from scalpers/card shops etc

I agree with you, but Nintendo can also solve this problem. If cards aren't rare or valuable then the only thing to do will be to play the actual game.

My son is into Hot Wheels and the scalpers are there every restock getting most of the cars. I see them at swap meets selling these hot wheels for as much as $5. These scalpers make friends with employees so they get first dibs.
