From a moral standpoint, you are wrong. if we were talking about a mom and pop cool. This company is making billions off of his labor, skilled or un-skilled. hoarding wealth is unethical. They can afford to pay a livable wage. skill or unskilled. and they should. That company is benefiting from a bad job market and taking advantage.

I've been a dock loader, the pay wasn't great but it wasn't bad either.. I developed skills and moved into maintenance in my early 30s and made good money.. I moved into engineering in my early 40s now I make great living

I remember being a dock loader. It took me 2 mins to learn which is why I was paid $11.25/hr.

you also have to remember that part of the reason your skillset is so valuable, is due to lack of qualified individuals. if every runs out and gets HVAC certified, then HVAC jobs will probably not hire as high as they do now, or the wage plateaus and you don't see any wage growth for a while. Now-a-days, a Bachelor's isn't enough. It's a Bachelor's with 3-5 yrs experience

We live in California. Fast food workers are at a $20 minimum. Dock workers should be at least at $22 due to the safety hazards of using that equipment
