You understand why Housemarque made these changes right? Too many players rage quit Returnal, and negative press got around. Eventually it became a cult classic, but it never regained the ground it lost in terms of goodwill with gamers. Saros reintroduces roguelike games to gamers who are built for the difficulty, and also to those who are not built for the difficulty. Housemarque still wants to make good games, but it’s clear they want as many gamers as possible to buy them and not have a PR disaster like they did with Returnal, where they had to build in patches for suspending the game and co-op just to make it winnable.

Saros and Returnal are definitely in my top 3 all time video games. It doesn’t get much better than Saros though

Saros is a 9/10 I love the lore, actually top tier if you pay attention to it. It’s more than just a roguelike
