@thebookofbaltimore: TSO Tadoe broke out almost instantly with his record “YSN,” released in April 2015. Growing up in the Longwood / North Dukeland (LND) area of West Baltimore, Tadoe was initially a promising basketball star in high school. Although he was still in and out of the streets, he eventually earned an opportunity to play college basketball at Maine University. However, due to financial aid issues, he wasn’t able to attend, which led him to continue his career at the Community College of Baltimore County in both Dundalk and Catonsville. After spending some time there, he ultimately dropped out and chose to focus on hustling and music full time. “YSN” quickly became TSO Tadoe’s breakout hit, gaining major traction across Baltimore and expanding throughout the DMV and Tri-State regions, with strong radio play and over a million views online. The record stamped his name in the city early and positioned him as one of Baltimore’s rising street voices. In 2016, Tadoe followed up with “The Slickest One 2,” a project that helped solidify his buzz. The tape featured standout tracks like “Project Shit,” “Drippin,” and “Murder Scene,” and included production from notable names like Rico Love, showing industry attention early in his career. After his initial run, Tadoe kept a lower profile musically, releasing projects like “93 Premium” (2018) and “Real Distributor” (2019), continuing to build his catalog while staying rooted in the streets. His music is known for blending raw street reality with emotional depth, often touching on loss, struggle, and ambition. Recently, he’s continued dropping records like “GEETCHY WAY,” “War Time,” and “BUSS IT,” showing his consistency and ability to evolve his sound while staying authentic to Baltimore culture. The term “Geetchy,” which became associated with his brand, reflects a mindset of pushing through struggles and elevating despite obstacles. Outside of music, TSO Tadoe remains active on social media, often documenting his fitness journey, lifestyle, and day-to-day growth. While he may not always be in the spotlight, his early impact and continued presence have kept his name respected in Baltimore’s hip-hop scene. #baltimore #baltimoretiktok #dmv
