Context: His dad who is divorced from his mom lives in another state. At the time we were dating they had a bit of a tumultuous relationship, so we never met. They became close again post us breaking up. Story: a little time after the breakup, I heard through a mutual friend his dad was getting divorced from his second wife. I had the brilliant idea that I was gonna create a “right place, right time” situation. I booked an Airbnb around the corner from his dad’s house, flew there & planted myself in the perfect situation to meet his dad. Gambled that he wouldn’t recognize me from photos. He did not realize who I was, luckily. Ended up hitting it off with his dad & did not spend any nights at aforementioned Airbnb. Called my ex on my last day there to say “Remember when I said I’m at the age in life where I could date you or your dad so act right” & sent a selfie from his dad’s bedroom.

Found out he cheated on me. Posted all of it on all socials (we are deputies, but everyone liked me more and I have more high up friends) so his rep is ruined in the department. He will never be promoted due to his ethics. Also he built a rifle and never got a serial num for it so I turned him into DOJ. He also forged a veh inspection for verifying a VIN (huge no no) turned him in on that too. Once I found out he cheated with 8 I sent all evidence to the husbands of the married department members as well.
