On our honeymoon in Hawaii, we rented a schnazzy convertible. Parked in a dark lower-level parking lot. When we went back, I thought I saw a roach. Husband thought I was seeing things. We bought a bomb that was supposed to kill the roaches in a three-room apartment. Blew it off in the car. When we returned to the car, we saw about a dozen dead roaches. Who knows how many more were in hidden places we couldn't see? We kept the car because we had already bombed it. Complained when we brought the car back after a week. They gave us a refund for one day. Guy said so many visitors with roaches in their luggage drive their cars that roaches are always a problem.

I removed a fridge from someones house in my truck and saw a few small roaches a couple months later whole truck was infested.

All these rental companies do not have a proper cleaning and maintenance procedure between customers. It’s all greed and profit!

That happen to me with Enterprise. They had to bring me another vehicle to my job because I refused to get into that vehicle. Roaches were crawling on the dashboard and windows. Enterprise apologized and upgraded my rental with the same price I was paying before.
