No lies told. I married to an avoidant. We have been together for 7 years and the moment I decided that I was no longer going to play this game I started to focus on me and learned the art of detachment ( not discipline) it took him about three months to notice that I wasn’t budging and I wasn’t playing. The more I starting being secure with in myself, he started to listen, chase and change. He is so much more present and isn’t afraid of emotional closeness ( fear of me leaving his ass) and he is alot more secure as well. Trust me, it starts with you.
