This is going to be an unpopular opinion but night shifts, for all professions, should only be 8 hours. It’s too hard. I know some people can do it, I wasn’t one of them. At a minimum, they need 2 hour nap breaks. I used to take a nap before my night shifts but still walked around in zombie mode for a whole day after my last shift.
