@cecilybauchmann: walking in as pastor Sam’s wife but I’m also just a mom hanging on by a prayer🥹🫶🏼I took so many deep breaths driving there so I could stay calm. Trying not to get overwhelmed when one kid is talking and another interrupts while I once again tell them “i can’t understand the two of you talking at the same time, hold your thought while (the kid talking first) finishes their sentence🫶🏼. We’re parked and I scramble in my purse thru crumbled receipts and gum wrappers I find my mascara and put it on. A few swipes feels like enough but I feel the panic rising as we begin to exit my safely enclosed Yukon to the parking lot jungle. I use a stern voice to all stay together as we walk safely thru the parking lot. and once I walked into church I can finally BREATHE.. I see Sam and his face always shows support, love, recognition & care. If he’s not talking to someone he will check the kids in for me🥹There’s something about coming to church where you’re surrounded by people who feel like home. You know you aren’t judged, you feel safe & you’re also growing closer to Jesus. If you were also praying and taking deep breaths on the way to church today, you are seen im with you ILYSM!
