@lovergirly888: today we decided at 2pm that we wanted to go on an adventure out of the city so we got in our car and drove an hour to long beach! we got coffee, walked the beach, collected sea shells, ate ice cream on the boardwalk, cruised the islands, and found the perfect waterfront restaurant to get dinner and drinks and watch the sunset together ♥️ it was beautifully warm and sunny out, but can’t wait to come back to this classic east coast beach town in the summer too. we got lobster bisque and fish and chips at the buoy bar, super impressed! you can even take the lirr. I feel so refreshed after getting out of the city and into the peace and quiet of nature 🌊 #longbeach #nycdaytrip #eastcoastsummer #longisland #slowliving
