There was a great idea once back in the 90’s to make MPs accountable but it fell down when people couldn’t get out of their old voting patterns It was called IMPACT …make parliament accountable The idea was to get a candidate who would agree to represent the people and people would pledge to vote for them …they would agree to a monthly or bi monthly town hall meeting …and be on a sort of employment contract which would be reviewed….it had the support of grey power but when push came to shove people voted for the same old same old and didn’t support it because of fear of the new preferring to vote in the old pattern Thing is the system now no longer represents the people they represent their party first then the crown and then the global off shore agendas …..labour changed it all back in the 80 bringing in neo liberalism the global agenda in drag
