As a country our most of social benefits and investments are for seniors - OAS, healthcare. We need to change and focus on our young people.

I really enjoy your content and as someone older I can offer advice. When I was your age I thought I was tethered to my friends. But you do have a choice and the good relationships will last distance and time. Join some things locally. Get yourself out there and meet the ones like you that are staying put and form a few new connections. You won’t regret it !

Early 30s here and still living with parents. Also majority of my friends are in different life paths that I can barely relate to. It's hard. You feel stuck and nothing's moving along for you. All I can say is keep feeling your feelings. Growing up sucks

I can relate, most of my best friends moved away. It’s always depressing when the next friend announces the move but you’re also happy for them. Also after tax season is when I’d hit a wall of depression because you’re running on fumes and adrenaline for 3 months straight and suddenly it’s over and it’s a huge shift for your brain. Take care of yourself! Enjoy your upcoming travels.

You’re not alone buddy ! 33 and revamping my whole system realizing I didn’t fit in where I was anymore. Small steps into uncomfortable spaces helped me get out of my old system. Chin up , you’re a good soul , you’ll figure it out !

Road trip on a motorcycle and if you don’t like motorcycles, do it in nice car but not on super highways. Pick some obscure less travelled routes down to Florida across to Montana. i’ve done it in a truck for over 40 years, but it’s really nice to do it without a schedule. .

It feels terrible and like you are the only one but you aren’t alone. It’s super common- they either move OR they get married and have babies and you have nothing in common anymore. You’ll find your way. Love your parents, stay in touch with your friends and try to have faith.

So important for people like me who freak out and procrastinate taxes due to anxiety to see the impact it can have on our tax professionals. I’m sorry to hear about the tough time recently and honestly you’re in the prime of your life and a good person, and a business hotshot to boot! One day at a time eh

Life is also in cycles and truth be told: it's not just your late 20s. I think your attitude is so great about it though and you will find your people.

Keep your head up! You are doing great and have new places to visit then if they move. I know how hard it is. I am at cpa who is now 40 with three kids. My late 20s was hard but the best times. Please enjoy it!

Take care of yourself!! Looking forward to more of your tax advice. Especially how we can pass on our hard earned property to our children. Be well.

Hey Chris! I find myself feeling down every year after tax season too. The pressure amps up SO high every day….and then suddenly, it’s over. It’s a weird thing and it still gets me, even though I know the letdown is coming.

Love this video… you’ve got this! Grinding hard in your 20s will pay off 10x in the coming years. The clarity in your self-analysis—recognizing the areas of your life that need attention—is powerful. Double down on yourself and the path you choose. Life’s journey is the reward! Enjoy it—the next few years are going to fly by so fast. Hope this finds you, cheers!
