@chloehartwell6: This story is simply to share my experience and voice my concerns. There is a lot more to this story and what I’ve gone through that this storytime won’t capture out of my privacy and also others. As someone who has always been the happy one who can never stop laughing, this experience truely was something that took a toll on me mentally over the last 6-8 months and still to this day. This experience is something I replay in my mind constantly and me voicing this is a form of therapy. I want people to be aware of the impact that their words, actions, and tone of voice have on others and to just be KINDER to EVERYONE. We all deserve respect and a safe space to speak up about any questions or concerns. And you should also give respect to others by communicating to the person/people directly about any issue. Always remember that putting yourself first isn’t selfish. YOU deserve to be happy and to surround yourself with people that make you feel that way.
