@operatortrainingperth: The easiest machine on site is actually the hardest ticket to get hired with — and nobody tells you this before you sign up. Everyone wants the watercart job — and fair enough. It's the cruisiest role on site. But that's exactly why it's hard to break into. Most of the time that seat goes to experienced operators already on site — people who've put in the time and are being rewarded with the easier run. Unless you've already got watercart experience, entry level on a watercart is rarer than people think. That's the first reason we don't recommend watercart on its own. Here's the second — and most people miss this completely. To operate an articulated watercart you need a Moxy ticket or Moxy experience. To take one onto public roads or into the city you need your HR licence. A watercart ticket alone covers neither — so your options are narrower than you realise before you've even started looking for work. This is exactly why we bundle it. Our bundle teaches you how to operate HR and Articulated trucks — then you decide what route you want to take from there, including whether an HR licence makes sense for you after that. Some private mine leases don't require an HR licence at all — so spending all your money on an HR licence with zero practical machine experience and no tickets is just another way to make your journey harder before it's even started. A HR licence will make you more desirable — but only when it's backed by machine tickets and some experience. Without that, it doesn't move the needle the way people expect it to. Pick your hard. We'd rather help you pick the right one. #miningaustralia #miningjobs #heavyequipment #miningperth #excavator
