@sacramentourbanmedia916: A 17-year-old Missouri teen and his friend are recovering from devastating injuries after an explosion earlier this month. #CarterGrabowski and his friend Preston believed they had found a firework—but their families now say it may have been a dangerous homemade device packed with metal fragments. When Carter tried to light it, it suddenly detonated in his hands. 💬 “All I saw was white… I couldn’t hear,” he said. The blast was so powerful neighbors thought a house had exploded. Both teens were seriously hurt: * Carter lost one hand and several fingers * Preston suffered severe hand injuries and hearing damage Carter’s mom says when she saw him in the hospital, he apologized: “Mom, I’m so sorry…” She told him: “You’re alive—that’s what matters.” Authorities are now investigating what exactly caused the explosion.#fyp #viral
