🔥 Do THIS for better looking abs ⬇️ If your abs aren’t as defined as you want them to be even though you’re losing weight and getting leaner… Your abs simply aren’t developed enough for them to show as much definition as you’d like them to. The problem I see a lot of people make when training their abs is simply not prioritizing WEIGHTED exercises for their ab training and not training their abs like any other muscle group. If you wanted to build a bigger chest, you’d choose exercises like the bench press, cable chest flys, machine presses, etc over push ups right? Why? Because you have more opportunity to progress with those exercises, get strong at them, and build more muscle with them. So same thing goes for training/building your abs 👇🏼 Exercises like the cable crunch or machine variations of crunches are by far way more superior than bodyweight leg raises, sit ups, etc. However, I am not saying that bodyweight exercises aren’t effective for TRAINING your abs (especially as a beginner) Bodyweight exercises will only take you so far when it comes to BUILDING your abs. (Note the difference) So if you’re a beginner, and you’re still able to progress with bodyweight exercises such as the sit up, crunch, leg raise, etc - keep at it. BUT once you reach a point where doing 15-20+ rep sets is EASY for you - you need to increase the difficulty.
