i love leo but the saying "men used to go to war" is such shit. the ones who were eager to go, weren't even legal adults yet, brains still developing, hormones still skyrocketing and then the rest of them (high percentage) didn't have a choice and the only outcome they had was shell shock or death while mourning the brothers they made along the way. also, no, a piece of pussy will not cure depression, PTSD, ongoing stress/hardship (within someone's personal or work life), grief, financial struggles and more. would y'all stand by him if he had said a women is weak if dick didn't fix all of her issues? or would you say a lesbian ain't shit if pussy didn't fix all of her problems magically? probably fucking not. women have fought for decades for equality, rights, freedom, acknowledgement and to be seen and heard but if we start treating males now the way they treated us in the past (and yes I know, some males still think that way), then what makes us any better. most females today are now becoming the thing we stood against for years and all that is doing is erasing history and basically saying fuck you to our grandmothers and their mothers, etc. .. we are better than that. we find it wrong that we were hospitalized and/or put on strong medication or possibly lobotomized for being too out spoken or too emotional and now we're saying a male ain't shit and should be lonely, outcasted and/or laughed out because "pussy didn't solve all their problems"? how are we any better than them now?

I said I needed space and time to think about things because for years that’s what he told me after an argument. The SECOND I said it, he was big mad!! I knew he would, I stood my ground because I knew it was over, but the trauma bond and manipulation were breaking. I just needed him out of my life and that was the way to do it. By choosing me and not letting him manipulate me back after gas lighting me to thinking it was all my fault. And it worked. I’m happier, stronger, and better off!!

“Men used to go to war.” Yeah… and why? For love. For family. For people they cared about. So if a man can risk his life for love, why is he suddenly “weak” for being hurt by betrayal, manipulation, or disrespect? A man being sad doesn’t make him less of a man. It means he cared for real. The problem isn’t men having emotions. The problem is people acting like men are only valuable when they feel nothing. Feeling pain is human. Staying broken forever is the part you overcome.
