Go in with your eyes open at least... 👀 When I first started dog sitting I made the most common mistake to try and get myself as many bookings as possible. I thought that because I had no reviews... The only way to get booked would be by lowering my prices to be the cheapest. Not only did that totally backfire... But I still waited months to get booked! What I didn't know, and most other sitters don't realise, is that pricing yourself SUPER cheap makes it look like you're not giving good service. Like you don't know what you're doing... Yes, it's good to be competitive, but by being the cheapest in your area, dog owners think they will get a "knock-off" service. And NO ONE wants that for their dog!
