We can't control everything that happens in our life, but we can let God take control and hope for the best

 Read that again.
 Slowly.

Because some of us need to hear it today.
Some of us need to breathe it in.
Some of us need to cry it out.

We can’t control who walks away.
No matter how much we love them.
No matter how much we begged.
No matter how many times we showed up when they didn’t.
 People leave.
 And it breaks you.

 We can’t control who lies.
We can’t control who talks about us behind our backs.
We can’t control who pretends to care and then disappears the moment we need them.

We can't control everything that happens in our life, but we can let God take control and hope for the best Read that again. We can’t control betrayal. And God, that hurts. We can’t control the bills. The rent that’s due. The empty bank account. The "adulting is a scam" feeling when you work so hard and still feel behind. We can’t control the anxiety that hits at 2am. The overthinking. The "what if I fail" thoughts. The weight of being responsible for yourself with no one clapping for you. We can’t control the bad days. The days you wake up tired. The days you try your best and it still isn’t enough. The days you feel invisible. The days you feel like no one has treated you good anyway. The days you wonder "is this all there is?" We can’t control heartbreak. We can’t control grief. We can’t control sickness. We can’t control loss. We can’t control the timing of our lives. We can’t control how fast or slow things move. We try. God, we try so hard. We fight. We plan. We make vision boards and to-do lists and pray 5 times and still... Life happens. And it doesn’t ask for permission. And for a long time I thought that meant I was failing. I thought if I couldn’t control it, I wasn’t good enough. I thought if I couldn’t fix it, I wasn’t strong enough. I thought if I couldn’t make people stay, I wasn’t lovable enough. But then I read this line again. *"but we can let God take control"* And something in me broke. In a good way. Because what if the reason I’m so tired is because I’ve been trying to be God? What if the reason I’m so anxious is because I’ve been carrying things I was never meant to carry? What if the reason I’m so broken is because I keep trying to build with people God already removed? That’s where the weight lifts. That’s where the panic stops. That’s where the 2am overthinking finally gets quiet. Right there. In surrender. Because I don’t have to carry it all. I don’t have to fix everyone. I don’t have to have all the answers. I don’t have to be strong every single day. I don’t have to figure out my whole life by next Tuesday. I just have to surrender. I just have to hope. I just have to trust that the One who made me is not confused about my life. The One who knit me together in my mother’s womb knows exactly what He’s doing with me now. Even the rejection. Even the loneliness. Even the adulting. Even the seasons that feel like a scam. God sees it. God knows it. God is in it. Surrender is not weakness. Surrender is the bravest thing I’ve ever done. It’s saying "I trust You more than I trust me." It’s saying "Your plan is better than my plan." It’s saying "I don’t understand, but I believe." And even when it doesn’t look like it, even when it hurts, even when I’m alone, I will hope. Because hope in You is not wishful thinking. Hope in You is an anchor. If your heart is heavy today, read it again. If you’re tired of trying to control everything, read it again. If you feel like adulting broke you, read it again. If you feel like no one is fighting for you, read it again. You’re not alone in this. You were never meant to do this alone. Let God. Just let Him. And watch what happens when you stop striving and start trusting. 🙏 #foryou #foryoupage #viralvideo #fyp #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp
