@christian.grossi: The technology in China is shocking đ¨đŗ When you travel around Asia you become to accustomed to noise. From loud trucks, honking, yelling, itâs honestly just a part of traveling around Asia. But in China it is so different, honestly sometimes itâs a bit spooky when you are walking next to a highway and you hear nothing. But one thing that really impressed me is the Chinese vehicles. They are on display in almost every mall in China and you always see foreigners testing them . #fyp #tellme #traveltiktok #china #guangzhou
Am china đ¨đŗ right now all bikes đī¸are electric some busses too

Yeah, but that's because in Germany, for example, you pay 40 cents for a kilowatt hour of electricity, and in China, you only pay 8 cents for a kilowatt hour of electricity.

Recently returned from China and learnt that only electric bikes are allowed, petrol (motorbikes) are banned. Though you can buy a petrol car freely, the registration (blue plates) are "drawn" like a lottery and there is only limited availability. In addition blue plates have restrictriction on what day of the week they can drive based on their number (like you can't drive on Monday if your plate has number 1 in it or something like it).

Also, because of the license plates, apparently the license plate for gas vehicles are in a lottery, so itâs very difficult to get them. It was an incentive to get people to buy electric cars, the plates for those are immediate while the ones for gas vehicles can take months, even a year to get one and theyâre super expensive

As Chinese citizens, we know there is still much room for improvement, and the government is constantly working hard to serve the people. However, thank you for presenting modern China through such positive and affirming commentary.

I donât see any electric car chargersâĻ how do they sustain the amount of electric cars? The U.S. is definitely not ready for everyone to have electric cars.

That's because China has the cheapest electricity rates in the world. It is heavily subsidised by the government.

Is there streets in China that have wireless charging built in it to charge your vehicles while driving or is that not a thing yet?

And before anyone says it, yes. EVs that use electricity from coal plants are still better than combustion because the pollution is moved from the city core to the outskirts. Concentrating all the energy production outside the city gives nature a chance to rebound rather than creating smog.
