I feel an impossibly strong love for someone not physically close to me. Sometimes I think the universe is telling me if I can overcome my drug addiction I might be able to be closer to her somehow. Every time my addiction gets real bad and I dissociate from this reality I think I see signs telling me this. It gives me motivation I wouldn’t otherwise have, I’ve ALMOST overcome my addictive behaviour many times believing this. Feelings are so strong I want to scream and cry. I feel an immense longing something I know is potentially real and it helps me dramatically to try and be a better person. I feel at the cusp of, but not quite able to make those final steps and stay consistent over time being clean. I sense it’s possible to push through but feel stuck in a stalemate. I wish someone, ANYONE knew how this felt.
