Rendered my first service at the ongoing Kathrid in Paro by serving devotees. It was a deeply meaningful experience to be part of this sacred occasion and to have the opportunity to serve people who came to receive blessings. Serving alongside fellow volunteers reminded me once again that service, compassion, patience, and cooperation are an important part of our community and spiritual traditions. A gentle reminder to everyone attending the Kathrid: please help us keep Paro clean. There was quite a lot of waste left along the roads and around the town today. Let us carry our waste with us or dispose of it in the designated places. Keeping the surroundings clean is also a form of respect for the sacred occasion and for our community. I would also like to humbly request everyone to remain patient and avoid rushing while standing in line to receive the Dhar with Dorji Puen, the Vajra family. Today, the rush at certain points became quite risky, particularly for elderly people, persons with disabilities, and young children. Everyone will have their turn to receive the blessings, so a little patience can make the experience safer and more peaceful for all. The crowd management team has been doing their best to maintain order and ensure everyone's safety, but managing a large crowd becomes very tiring when some people do not cooperate. Let us appreciate their efforts and extend our cooperation. Let us keep the faith, maintain patience, care for one another, and leave Paro cleaner than we found it. May the remaining days of Kathrid be peaceful, safe, and meaningful for everyone.
