Nope. It’s a scientific fact that weight training help improve your metabolic rate, meaning if you improve your muscle mass you burn more calories at rest. This is because muscle need more energy to maintain itself at rest. Also weight training is what gives you that “tone” look and shape..

Building muscle worked insanely well for me. I’m 5’2” and lost 17kg in about 4 months by stacking on as much muscle as I could from heavy heavy lifting and eating more protein.

I’m 4’11 I do Pilaties twice a week and I do walk quite a lot dose that still help? I used to work out 5 times a week in the gym and cardio 5 times a week and I felt like it made me very hungry and very tired and stressed and I was always bloated but when I started doing pilaties twice a week and walking I started to lose weight more faster and I’m not bloated anymore.
