I see it as a faulty in the shape of the prongs that lock in bullet. Basically, when it gets hit, Bullst is hitting the prongs very hard before it launches off and with how steep of an incline the prongs are, it ends up slamming into the prongs as apposed to actually launching off immediately. Also some internal structure stuff on Griffon will help.

Combo building BG will involve increasing the height to minimize contact with Bullet, avoiding separation and taking advantage of the weight. Taking separation to the later part of the battle where the opponent is at its weakest. Most players are pairing it with Merge.
