I know this is a skit and not all French are like this - but having spent a lot of time in France - I can agree. In 2018 I booked a large car for our vacation rental in Strausbourg. They didn’t have what I booked and when I said “ I want what I booked and paid for” the woman at the rental desk said “ what do you mean you want?!”. There was nothing I could do but to take what they have - a car so tiny I couldn’t fit our bags in and my daughter who was 10 had to hold up the bags in order to fit. Total nightmare
