Train from Manchester to London is so expensive at times. Cheaper to drive but can take up to 5 hrs depending on traffic and the part of London you’re heading to.

For transparency, you should be mentioning the reason you could not book cheap tickets on the train was because you didn't know about the trip 12 weeks in advance. It would have been cheaper on the train than driving if you had notice.
