Annie Staveley :
Hi Drew. Im elderly, all but one of my family now dead. I have a question, a wondering, that has titilated me privately these many years. It concerns my parentage.
B- father and O+ mother
1st child O+ ... now 86 and vibrant
2nd child B- ... initially failed to thrive, kidney disease since childhood, killed him in his 70s. The mother very ill at time of birth, recovered, bore another,
3rd child (me) O+ ... pretty ab fab, to be honest
Somewhere along Life's unreliable bent and rutted track of casually acquired information (or indeed dis info), I heard that after a difficult Rh birth, the mother was left unable to birth another live child ... yet here I am. Could the father of one and two above, have sired me? Mother was frightfully straight laced however as I approach 80 I realize that doesn't mean a jolly thing.
Grandmother (whom I'm very like), lived to 103. I'm threatening a repeat. Still, before I pop off, I should like to know whether mother's virtue slipped. Are you able to elucidate the blood situation for me.
I'm smiling as I write. Nothing about this could make me unhappy.
A.
