The Southern Strategy is an extension of the 1680 slavery legislation that was created as a result of 1676s Bacon’s rebellion. Pit the poor whites against the enslaved blacks by making the poor white males feel superior to the blacks.

You know. I wonder, what if they (by some stretch of imagination) they did achieve a white country? Still run by the elite class, do they think they will move forward from the shite that is happening now? The suppression that is happening in the US now? Also they think it’s all going away if there were no melanin people that they were taught to believe that were obstacles to whatever they thought and told they were entitled too? They really need to learn on why the term “white” was created and the how it was used by the elite to convince Europeans to believe their color held privilege not realizing they were used to maintain their racism and control over anyone who was not white. They still were poor because in the end, it doesn’t matter what your skin is, it was and always has been about money and the people who want to hold on to it even if it means to step on even their own “white” people.

@Keith: I’ve thought for awhile now that all the progress we have made in racism and misogyny, is just the same bullshit wrapped in a new shiny pretty bow. They always use the promise of the ability to move up the social economical ladder. We are getting farther and farther away from the American dream. The dream that some people were never allowed to have in the first place (minorities). Most times I really hate our culture.
