So im not the only dm who worries my encounters are too easy. Good to know. I did end up throwing in level 5 scroll of fireball as a last resort for my bandit leader that only had "1hp" left.

My fire Dino didn’t give them any sense of urgency and they felt the encounter rather easy. Next session they walked into a cave and encountered a Khezu (iykyk). a player got downed, another near down and the third had to haste to drag everyone out.
