Think black, red and white volcanic cliffs, dramatic landscapes, and surprisingly very clear water (even if it doesn’t always look like it). But Perivilos and Perissa also feature amazing beach clubs. So except from golden sandy beaches, you can find whatever you want here. . Don’t go to Santorini for the beach. Go for the views, the people, the food, the history. But if I were to choose it would be Perissa. Kamari has a huge drop, further north smells like the factory and airport. However there’s plenty of secret places to drop in. But you’re not going to have a Sandy beach anywhere. And that’s ok. The volcanic rocks are stunning. But not your ideal beach scene.
