@hungonshclinga: Science based lifting has been the best and worst thing for new lifters nowadays bc yea it’s going to help people optimize their training and learn what is actually helpful vs what’s unnecessary; however, a lot of yall are DM’ing trying to find ways to shorten your program, lower the amount of exercises, or ask if you can skip something all together. That’s just not the way to look at lifting, like yea don’t do 5 drop sets with 100 reps but stop trying to be a minimalist because I guarantee the ego bro science lifter who trains like a maximalist and always wants more is going to probably get farther than the kid who wants to always do less. Yea use your brain and don’t think like a meathead but at the same time, you should be aiming to do as much as you can to grow and that takes some experimenting. If you rly want to grow as much as you can you should be training like it within an intelligent range. Just bc ur doing leg extensions that “hit the entire quad” doesn’t mean you should skip a squat pattern all together forever that’s just trying to reduce what you put into this @Breathedivinity #gym #fyp #davidlaid #gymmotivation #aesthetic
