Literally no one does faceless characters anymore even though it could work as a really good narrative tool depending on your themes and story, especially for a villain but it could work for other characters too! I think the closest we got in recent years as a good example was Belos from Owl House, but due to time constraints he wasn’t faceless for very long, and he is still the classic faceless villain character. No one does it with protagonists or side characters anymore.
