like 10lbs a month for my family of 6. I freeze it in .5lb, 1lb and 1.5lb bags. my kids dont like super meaty spaghetti sauce so I only use the .5 when I make that.

I wish I could agree that this is money saving but in my experience the bulk ground beef has more fat in it than actual meat.

We use 3-4lbs per meal and do the same thing. Laying them flat helps them thaw faster so even when I forget to pull meat out I can cook it quickly

What brand of vacuum seal bags do you use? I want to meal prep like this so bad but I have had too many bags not seal or seal and then somehow get air in them so need a good brand.
