When I was a nurse, we always appreciated acknowledgment in general. I think one physician group brought donuts for both night and day shift (I did OB so we had a lot of staff). One group got everyone pens (which we all loved). When I was a physician working in an office, I gave them all a cup with some gel pens, candy, and a tube of nice hand cream. Then I got a gift certificate for my primary nurse.

My job doesn't do much, if anything for us. I'd appreciate nice pens and highlighters or gift cards. The olive oils are a nice healthy thought. And gift cards to coffee shops, dept stores, and restaurants would be nice.
