It’s very clearly not that Susan likes boys but that she is now more focused on a materialistic world than her connection with narina it’s also not boys and lipstick it’s nylons lipstick and invitations this is describing a life style and while she partakes in this lifestyle she can’t be a friend to narnia but it clearly states she could always find her way back. It also stems from one of the least insightful authors JK rowling she is not exactly known for her depth.

I always thought that it was because while the others may have enjoyed their romances Susan lost love for Narnia in a way the others didn't. now I didn't read the books as I never had the money to buy them but oh my god when I found out about the "Susan problem" I spent DAYS researching that shit

one of the comments on that tumblr post talked about how The Problem With Susan only exists if you ignore the fact that its a work of Christian fiction. Aslan is Jesus, Narnia is heaven. CS Lewis said that he stronglynrelated to Susan and that she represented the time in his life where he list faith in God (in the aftermath of fighting in a world war). I dont have any sources, but thats what i remember of the commentary, i would have to look it up again to double check.
