It is the largest movable land-based structure in human history! 🌍 • Scale: You could easily fit the Statue of Liberty or Notre-Dame Cathedral inside the arch. 🗽 • Safety: It has a lifespan of 100 years. Huge remote-controlled cranes are installed inside to eventually dismantle the old "Sarcophagus" and the reactor's remains without human involvement. 🤖 • Complexity: The structure was assembled 300 meters away from the reactor to reduce radiation exposure for the builders, and then slid into place on special rails. Fun fact: The total weight of the arch is 36,200 tons.
