I was interim supervisor for 9 months my team had the best numbers in the organizations, I was the site liason and even the providers and office staffed bragged on how I had improved the overall relationship bridging the gap between the contact center and the offices. Well applied not only did they go externally and hired they hired two people externally and just like this asked me to train my replacement, I declined noting that why would I be good enough to train someone for a role I’m not good enough to have, within 2 weeks literally two weeks I was hired for a better position with a competing organization and they had the nerve to act shocked when I turned in my letter of resignation

When my manager quit, they had me as acting manager until they could hire someone. They decided not to hire someone because I was doing such a great job filling in so instead of them promoting me and giving me a raise, I kept my current title and pay yet did the manager duties. Yeah no. I quit.

My company tried this with me. I declined to train the new manager. After I had trained the previous one and still wasn’t promoted. I reverted back to doing the bare minimum.
