I couldn’t mask anymore after I got diagnosed at 35, because I ended up in burnout. I still can’t and I’m still in burnout. It’s exhausting. Also everyone had a problem with my personality but no one believed my diagnosis. It has been an isolating transition.

Been diagnosed for a month, and it’s taking so much longer to sink in than I had anticipated… this was very helpful to hear. Thank you ♥️

My diagnosis validated so much about my life. It is a relief to have a different lens to view what I have experienced prior to the diagnosis.

I've been diagnosed a few weeks ago and I feel pretty lost right now so thank you for that!

I'm on the path to diagnosis, but I'm already dealing with having to relearn everything, even about myself and who I thought I was. it is challenging and hard, but there's some relief in knowing that I'm on the path to truth and self-realization. even if I don't reach the goal, I find peace in knowing I'm on the right track 🥹

yes. but did you go through a panic during that time thinking that not only have you been unseen your whole life, you now are unmasking and making yourself less available and therefore less connected to the outside world?
