egg roll in a bowl ✨ - to my surprise, this easy recipe taste just like eating a deconstructed egg roll! each bite is packed with the savory flavors and textures you would find in a classic egg roll. the last minute decision to serve with homemade wonton chips did not disappoint. love the added crunch it adds to this recipe! what you’ll need: • 1 pound lean ground turkey (may use beef, pork or chicken) • 1 small yellow onion, chopped • 3 large garlic cloves, minced  • 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger • 2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced • 2 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced  • 1 cup shredded carrots  • 1 tbsp avocado or neutral flavored oil  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce • 1 tbsp rice vinegar • 1 tbsp sesame oil  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar  sriracha mayo and topping • 1/2 cup mayonnaise  • 2 tbsp sriracha • 1/2 tbsp lime juice or water  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder • salt to taste • fresh scallions, sliced • sesame seeds, optional  • fresh lime slices, optional wonton chips (optional) • 1 package wonton wrappers neutral flavored oil, for frying  salt here’s how to make it: 1. in a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and brown sugar. set aside. heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium high heat. add in garlic and ginger and sauté for 1-2 min. then add in ground turkey and season with salt and pepper. cook meat mixture until it is no longer pink, about 3-4 min. add in the cabbages and carrots. pour over the soy sauce mixture and give everything a good mix. cook for an additional 3-4 min or until veggies soften slightly. remove from heat.  2. place enough oil to reach halfway up the sides of a deep bottom pan/skillet and heat to 350F. cut wonton wrappers diagonally in halves. fry the wonton wrappers in batches until golden brown and crispy. transfer to a paper towel cooling rack or tray. lightly sprinkle with salt. 3. in a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, sriracha, lime juice, and garlic powder. taste and season with salt to liking. for a thinner mayo consistency, mix in water 1 tsp at a time. 4. spoon desired serving of egg roll mixture into a bowl. drizzle over sriracha mayo before topping with sesame seeds and fresh green onions serve with lime slices and wonton chips, if desired. enjoy! 💕 #eggrollinabowl #Recipe #EasyRecipe #cookwithme #cooking
