I am a new revert, I take my shahada last January, and I’m looking forward to get married to my man, but my family we are mix Muslim and Catholics I was raised as Catholic and now I’m a bit confused about the marriage because I am seeing a lot of peoples saying different things that needs to happen for me to be able to marry. I got married in my mother in law’s living room🤣 my in-laws have helped us so much! When we moved house we needed so much stuff, i listed everything and they pretty much got everything even though we wanted to do it ourself.. why did they do that? We dint have a big show wedding so the money went on the things we needed to start our life off right
