It's not whitening anything, it's called color correcting. Same as how you can use a green concealer for zits and other blemishes, then add foundation on top, the green cancels out the red, it makes it less visible but doesn't make it go away.

I will say they are great for sensitive teeth! Some people with bad stains will need to use them for a bit for them to work but they will actually work.

Of course it’s gonna be good for sensitive teeth because theirs no ingredients in it that help whiten your teeth. Purple cancels out yellow your teeth will look white for about 6 hours before it goes back to the original color you had . It’s like makeup for your teeth you use makeup to cover a scar or pimple it will look like you don’t have one but it’s still there
