Bollocks, I have never had Timber slip like that, anyone with common sense will tell you that timber will slip and to strap it so it doesn't slip. I mean, ffs it's wrapped in plastic it needs backstrapping so it cant slide out.

I've had it happen before after that I always double skid and strap over the bottom packs 1st every days a learning day

absolutely 100% bang on, we've all been there, been driving lorries 44yrs and the commeradary has completely gone, I've helped and been helped over the years, a big problem no is tight margins, frightened of stopping because your gaffer has got you on tracker etc everything I've ever learned over the years and done most things from roping and sheeting to heavy haulage, tankers...has been gained through experience not a classroom...
