The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC charges an adult $30 for an admission. The Met gala tickets are in upwards of $100,000 to fund the museum. In 2024 there was a $125 million gift from Oscar L. Tang and Agnes Hsu-Tang. The museum raised $550 million that year.
