I mean, that scripture trips me up too. However, that contradicts what John said that if we sin we have an advocate in Heaven, Christ Jesus, and if we confess our sins he is faithful to forgive us.

Scripture makes people upset because they want to keep sinning. There is a difference between slipping back into sinning and making a deliberate choice to sin because you feel like you're good cause you said a prayer once in church and felt a feeling. Once saved always saved, but how many people are walking through the world assuming their "saved" but do not actually know Jesus or live out their faith.

Let's be truthful and honest so many dont get discouraged, there are things as a believer that you will still struggle with after being saved until you're delivered. There will always be something a person who is saved struggle with until Jesus returns.This is what keeps the believer humble. We will forever need the strength and help of the LORD. 1 John 1:19 also 1 John 3:20. Be encouraged 🔥
