I told my husband that if I went into early labor with my third before my family made it out here to watch our other two kids, he may need to stay home and I’ll go myself and he said absolutely not. He texted our neighbors to secure an option incase this happened so they could come watch our kids because he wanted to be there not only to support me, but to be there for the birth of his child. Thankfully my family made it in time, but he was never going to allow me to be by myself and him not be there. She needs to leave him

My partner was learning about the medial devices and asking all kinds of questions to the nurses I thought he was going to come out with a medical degree 😅 then he went and got me food and coffee for all the nurses on the labour and deliver floor ☺️

I was there for all 5 of ours. The only one that I didn’t take her to the hospital on was #2 as it was so unexpected. I could t get to the hospital fast enough. I can’t imagine NOT being there, even though I felt useless. Wife assures me that it meant the world to her that I was there.

my boyfriend has EXTREME fear of doctors and hospitals, blood pressure skyrockets just walking up to a hospital, but he is going to be in the delivery room when our baby comes

My hubby was all ready for labor. He bought massage oils, a coping comb, massage balls, and snacks. We ended up having an emergency C-section and he let my mom go in the operating room with me.

Dads didn't have the opportunity to be in the delivery room when I was born 60 years ago. How sad. Dads should WANT to be there for the mama of his baby. Dad, stay at her head, hold her hand, rub her back, get her water, whatever else she needs. You won't necessarily see her poop or anything else. I watched my cousin give birth. All I could say was 'awesome', over and over. It was amazing.
